of <h1>Form 2 for closing matured Kisan Vikas Patra accounts: passbook, written request, settlement mode choice, minor certification, payment authorization</h1> Prescribes Form 2 under the Kisan Vikas Patra Scheme, 2019 for closure of a matured account by submission of the pass book/deposit receipt and a written request specifying the maturity date. It requires the applicant to elect the mode of settlement-credit to a specified savings account, issue of demand draft/account payee cheque, or cash payment where the amount is below the permissible limit-and includes a certification where the proceeds are required for a living minor, with guardian execution and attestation of thumb impression. It also provides for internal computation and authorization of payment by detailing principal, interest due, recovery of overpaid interest, deductions, total amount payable, and depositor acquittance for receipt or transfer.
