Import of gold and silver: advance remittances through authorised dealers are prohibited except as provided by law. Regulation 11 prohibits advance remittances for the import of gold and silver by an Authorised Dealer, except where expressly permitted by the Act, Rules, Regulations or Directions, creating an obligation on Authorised Dealers to refuse such advance outward remittances unless a statutory or regulatory exception applies.
