of <h1>Constitution (15th Amendment) Act, 1963: Judges Transferred to New High Courts Eligible for Compensatory Allowance Under Article 222.</h1> Article 222 of the Constitution was amended by the Constitution (15th Amendment) Act, 1963, to include a new clause. This clause specifies that when a judge is transferred to another High Court, they are entitled to receive a compensatory allowance in addition to their salary. The amount of this allowance is to be determined by Parliament through legislation, and until such determination is made, the President is authorized to fix the allowance by order.
