          <h1>Judicial retirement age increased and President empowered to finally decide a judge's age after consulting the Chief Justice.</h1> Amendment raises the retirement age for Judges of the High Courts by substituting the earlier age threshold with a higher age limit. It also provides that if any question arises as to the age of a High Court Judge, the question shall be decided by the President after consultation with the Chief Justice of India and that the President's decision shall be final.
