of <h1>Section 81 of Finance (No. 2) Act, 1996, omits duty rate details for broadcast TV receiver sets from 1985 Act.</h1> The Fifth Schedule of the Finance Act, 1985, which detailed the rate of duty for broadcast television receiver sets, including combinations with radios, tape recorders, video cassette recorders, and other appliances, was omitted by section 81 of the Finance (No. 2) Act, 1996. Prior to its omission, the schedule specified a duty rate of one hundred rupees per set.
