Additional customs duty on specified imported television sets operated as a supplemental levy alongside existing customs duties. An omitted provision had levied an additional duty of customs on goods specified in the relevant schedule (television sets), calculated at the schedule rate and charged in addition to any other customs duties; the Customs Act's procedures, including refunds and exemptions, were to apply, so far as practicable, to the levy and collection of that additional duty.
