of <h1>Finance Act 1985 amends Income-tax Act, adding sub-clause (ia) to Section 58, effective April 1, 1986.</h1> Section 58 of the Income-tax Act is amended by the Finance Act of 1985. In clause (a) of sub-section (1), a new sub-clause (ia) is inserted, effective from April 1, 1986. This addition specifies that any expenditure of the nature referred to in sub-section (12) of section 40A is included.
