<h1>Regulation 12: CCI Can Use Settlement Applicant's Info if Order Revoked or Application Rejected/Withdrawn.</h1> Regulation 12 of the CCI (Settlement) Regulations, 2024 outlines the use of information by the Competition Commission of India (CCI) and the Director General. If a settlement order is revoked, the Commission may rely on information submitted by the Settlement Applicant. If a settlement application is rejected or withdrawn, information from other sources can be used. The Commission may also use information from the Settlement Applicant against other parties not involved in the settlement. Additionally, facts admitted in related proceedings, domestically or internationally, are considered admitted by the Settlement Applicant in proceedings intended for closure.
