<h1>Settlement Order Not a Contravention Finding for Applicants; Ongoing Inquiries Unaffected Under Section 26.</h1> The CCI (Settlement) Regulations, 2024, under Regulation 7, specify that a settlement order by the Commission does not imply a finding of contravention against the Settlement Applicant. The filing of a Settlement Application or the issuance of a settlement order does not affect ongoing inquiries under section 26 of the Act concerning other parties not involved in the settlement. The settlement order is final and binding on the Settlement Applicant.
