Rule 13C on Temporary Members' Allowances and Pension Deductions Omitted from 1963 Service Rules.
Rule 13C of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal Members (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1963, which outlined the conditions of service for temporary judicial and accountant members, has been omitted. Previously, this rule stipulated that temporary members would receive the same allowances as regular members, with a provision that any pension received by a temporary member would be deducted from their pay. This rule was initially introduced in December 2003 and omitted in June 2009.
