Conditions of service for tribunal members follow those of corresponding government employees when the Rules are silent. Where these Rules do not provide for a particular aspect of a member's service, the member's terms and conditions in that respect follow the prevailing conditions applicable to other Government of India employees of corresponding status, so that recruitment and service matters not expressly governed by the Rules are governed by the general service conditions for similarly ranked central government employees.
