<h1>Indian Legal and Revenue Service members' Adjudicating Authority service counts for pension; governed by original service rules.</h1> Members of the Indian Legal Service or Indian Revenue Service appointed as Chairperson or Member of the Adjudicating Authority will have their service counted towards their pension according to their original service rules. They will continue to be governed by the General Provident Fund (Central Services) Rules, 1960, the Contributory Provident Fund (India) Rules, 1962, and the Contribution Pension System, if applicable prior to their appointment. No additional pension or gratuity will be granted for their service within the Adjudicating Authority.
