Resignation of Adjudicating Authority Members follows a written notice rule with continued office until succession or term expiry.

A Member of the Adjudicating Authority may resign by written notice to the Central Government at any time. Unless earlier relinquishment is permitted, the Member continues in office until the earliest of three months from receipt of the notice, the appointment of a successor, or the expiry of the term of office. The rule governs the form and timing of resignation and preserves continuity in office until succession or term completion.
