Commencement of amendments: provisions come into force on such date as the Central Government may notify in the Gazette. The provisions of this Part, amending the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint, so that commencement of the amendments is contingent upon publication of that notification.
