Investigation period extension excludes periods of court stay from computation under amended prevention of money laundering provisions. The amendment substitutes 'ninety days' with 'three hundred and sixty-five days' in subsection (3)(a) of section 8, effective from a date notified by the Central Government, and inserts an Explanation excluding any period during which the investigation is stayed by a court from the computation of that extended period.
