These directions can include ordering issuers to refund application monies, restricting individuals from dealing in or accessing the securities market, preventing further security issues, mandating the sale or divestment of securities, and freezing security transfers. SEBI must provide an opportunity for a hearing to affected parties before or after issuing such directions, with provisions for post-decisional hearings in ex-parte cases.
