of <h1>Section 14 of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code Amended: New Exemptions for Notified Transactions and Sureties in Guarantee Contracts</h1> Section 14 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code has been amended by the Second Amendment Act, 2018. The amendment replaces sub-section (3) with a provision stating that the restrictions under sub-section (1) do not apply to transactions notified by the Central Government in consultation with financial regulators, or to a surety in a contract of guarantee to a corporate debtor.
