GST compliance rating enables assignment and public disclosure of registrants' compliance scores with prescribed parameters and periodic updates. A statutory mechanism establishes a goods and services tax compliance rating for every registered person, permitting the Government to assign a compliance score based on the person's record under the Act; the rating is to be calculated using prescribed parameters, updated periodically, communicated to the registered person, and placed in the public domain in a prescribed manner.
