of <h1>Bilateral Safeguard Measures Activated Under India-Malaysia Economic Cooperation Rules 2017 via Official Gazette Notification</h1> The bilateral safeguard measure under the India-Malaysia Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement Rules, 2017, becomes effective upon the publication of the notification in the Official Gazette. If a provisional safeguard measure is imposed and the Director General finds that increased imports threaten or cause serious injury to the domestic industry, the notification under rule 11 will specify that the safeguard measure takes effect from the date of the provisional measure's notification.
