Bilateral safeguard measures barred after the transition period for originating goods under the trade agreement framework. No bilateral safeguard measure may be imposed on an originating good after expiry of the prescribed transition period. The transition period runs from the date of entry into force of the Trade Agreement until seven years after completion of tariff reduction or tariff elimination, as applicable, for that originating good.
