of <h1>Investor Education and Protection Fund rules repeal clarifies continuity of prior actions and recognition under new rules</h1> Rule 12 repeals earlier Investor Education and Protection Fund (Awareness and Protection of Investors) Rules, 2001 and related 2012 rules, and provides that acts or actions done under those repealed rules shall, insofar as they are not inconsistent with these Rules, be deemed to have been done under the corresponding provisions of the current Rules. The provision preserves legal continuity by validating prior administrative acts and transfers them to the framework of the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (Accounting, Audit, Transfer and Refund) Rules, 2016.
