IEPF refunds process: claim online with Form IEPF-5; company verification; Authority issues payment or credits shares. Claimants whose securities or amounts have been transferred to the IEPF must apply online in Form IEPF-5 and send original and supporting documents to the company's Nodal Officer for verification. Companies must appoint and notify a Nodal Officer, file an e-verification report with certified scanned originals within prescribed timeframes, and remain liable for custody of originals and indemnity to the Authority. On verified entitlement the Authority effects e-payment or credits shares; verified claims are to be disposed within sixty days, subject to requests for further information and consequences for fraudulent claims.
