of <h1>Power to direct payment of amount due to the Fund: Authority must report non-compliant companies to Central Government.</h1> Rule provides the authority to direct payment of amounts due to the Investor Education and Protection Fund and prescribes reporting duties: the Authority must furnish to the Central Government, within sixty days of the end of each financial year, details of companies that failed to transfer amounts due to the Fund, and must also furnish by the end of the next financial year details of companies that failed to file the information required under sub-rule (8) of rule 5. Previously prescriptive company filing requirements in sub-rules (1) and (2) were omitted by notification w.e.f. 20-08-2019.
