of <h1>India Extends Minimum Import Price on Synthetic Knitted Fabrics to December 2024; MIP Set at $3.5/kg CIF Basis.</h1> The Government of India has extended the Minimum Import Price (MIP) on synthetic knitted fabrics from 15th September 2024 to 31st December 2024. The MIP is set at 3.5 US Dollars per kilogram on a Cost, Insurance, and Freight (CIF) basis. This applies to specific ITC (HS) codes, including various types of synthetic, man-made, and artificial fiber fabrics. Imports under these codes are prohibited unless the CIF value meets or exceeds the specified MIP. The notification modifies previous import policies while retaining other conditions from the earlier Notification No. 77/2023.
