of <h1>India Sets Minimum Import Price on Synthetic Knitted Fabrics at $3.5/kg Until September 2024.</h1> The Central Government has imposed a Minimum Import Price (MIP) of 3.5 US Dollars per kilogram on certain synthetic knitted fabrics under specific ITC(HS) Codes, effective until 15th September 2024. This applies to unbleached, bleached, dyed, yarns of different colors, printed, and other synthetic fabrics. Imports are prohibited unless the cost, insurance, and freight (CIF) value meet or exceed the MIP. The existing 'Free' Import Policy will resume on 16th September 2024 unless further amended. This notification is issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, approved by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
