of <h1>India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duty on Chinese Phosphoric Acid to Protect Local Industry; Effective Until November 9, 2001</h1> The Indian government has imposed an anti-dumping duty on phosphoric acid (technical grade) imported from China, following findings that the product was being sold in India below its normal value, causing material injury to the local industry. The duty, set at $187 per metric tonne, applies to phosphoric acid with a purity level of 85% or above, classified under sub-heading No. 2809.20 of the Customs Tariff Act. This measure is effective until November 9, 2001, with the applicable exchange rate determined by the Ministry of Finance's notifications.
