of <h1>India Extends Sugar Export Restrictions to October 2023; Excludes EU and USA Quotas Under Foreign Trade Policy.</h1> The Government of India has extended the restriction on the export of sugar, including raw, refined, and white sugar, under specific HS Codes, from October 31, 2022, to October 31, 2023, or until further notice. This extension is enacted under the Foreign Trade Policy and relevant sections of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992. The restriction does not apply to sugar exported to the EU and USA under CXL and TRQ quotas. Other conditions related to the export of sugar remain unchanged.
