of <h1>New Rules for Appointing Part-Time NFRA Members Under Companies Act, 2013 Announced by Ministry of Corporate Affairs.</h1> The Ministry of Corporate Affairs, under the authority of the Companies Act, 2013, has issued rules for appointing part-time members to the National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA). These rules, effective upon publication in the Official Gazette, designate several officials as part-time members, including a Joint Secretary from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, the Director General (Commercial-I) from the Comptroller and Auditor General, the Chief Financial Officer of the Reserve Bank of India, an Executive Director from the Securities and Exchange Board of India, and leaders from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
