India Amends Guar Gum Export Policy: New Certification Requirements for EU and UK Markets.
The export policy for Guar Gum has been amended by the Central Government, allowing exports to the European Union and the UK, provided they are accompanied by an Official Certificate issued by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry's authorized representative, SHEFEXIL. The products must also include an original analytical report certifying that Pentachlorophenol (PCP) and Ethylene Oxide (ETO) levels do not exceed specified limits. Testing must be conducted by designated agencies such as Vimta Labs and Export Inspection Agency Labs. This replaces the previous requirement for a Health Certificate, effective immediately.
