of <h1>India Amends Customs Notifications to Set End-Dates for Exemptions u/s 25(4A) of Customs Act 1962.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 09/2022-Customs on February 1, 2022, to amend several customs notifications. These amendments are made under Section 25(4A) of the Customs Act, 1962, to establish end-dates for conditional exemptions, which will be valid until March 31, 2023, unless altered or revoked. The affected notifications include Nos. 146/94, 147/94, 39/96, 50/96, 30/2004, 81/2005, 5/2017, 16/2017, and 32/2017. This notification takes effect on February 2, 2022.
