of <h1>Deadline for Updating Importer Exporter Code Extended to August 31, 2021; No Fees for August Modifications.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade, under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has extended the deadline for updating Importer Exporter Code (IEC) details for the year 2021-22 to August 31, 2021. This extension applies to the annual electronic update required during April-June. Additionally, any modifications made to the IEC during August 2021 will incur no fees. This amendment to the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020 is made under the authority of the Central Government and is approved by the Minister of Commerce & Industry.
