Exporters must submit declarations for goods and software exports using Form EDF or SOFTEX, depending on the nature of the export. Form EDF is for non-EDI port exports and is submitted to the Commissioner of Customs, while Form SOFTEX is for software exports and submitted to designated officials. The forms are then forwarded to the Reserve Bank. Authorised dealers retain duplicate forms upon realisation of export proceeds.
