of This notification amends the export duty rates on certain varieties of rice under the Customs Act, 1962. It introduces a 10% export duty on rice in husk (paddy or rough), husked (brown) rice, and parboiled rice. However, it exempts semi-milled or wholly-milled rice (other than parboiled and Basmati rice) from export duty. The changes are effective immediately.
