of The Directorate General of Foreign Trade, u/s 1.03 and 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), 2023, has amended Appendix-2Y to exempt certain Ministries/Departments' notifications on mandatory Quality Control Orders (QCOs) for import of inputs by Advance Authorisation holders, EOU, and SEZ. The updated list includes Ministry of Steel, DPIIT, Ministry of Textiles, and now Ministry of Mines. This amendment, effective immediately u/r Notification No. 71/2023, facilitates import of goods for manufacturing export products. Signed by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
