of <h1>Excise Duty Rebate Denied for Exported Goods Under Notification No. 42/2008-CE, as per Rule 14 of Pan Masala Rules.</h1> Rule 14 of the Pan Masala Packing Machines (Capacity Determination and Collection of Duty) Rules, 2008, stipulates that a rebate of excise duty is not granted for notified goods exported out of India if the duty has been paid under the specific notification No. 42/2008-CE, dated July 1, 2008, from the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue. This rule requires adherence to terms and conditions specified by the Central Government through notifications for any rebate under Rule 18 of the Central Excise Rules, 2002.
