          <h1>Transfer of settlement functions: Interim Board to perform Settlement Commission duties from 1 April 2025 under existing provisions.</h1> The proviso inserted into section 127G provides that, from the specified commencement date, the functions of the Settlement Commission shall be performed by the Interim Board and that the provisions of section 127G shall mutatis mutandis apply to the Interim Board as they apply to the Settlement Commission.
