of <h1>Inland Vessels Now Included Under Section 115VK(2) of Income-tax Act Alongside Ships, Effective April 2026</h1> In section 115VK of the Income-tax Act, sub-section (2) will be amended to include 'or inland vessels, as the case may be' after the words 'being ships.' This amendment expands the scope of the provision to explicitly cover inland vessels alongside ships. The change will take effect from April 1, 2026, as stipulated in the Finance Act, 2025.
