of <h1>Finance Bill 2022 amends GST Act: New deadline for credit notes now November 30 or annual return date.</h1> Clause 101 of the Finance Bill, 2022 amends section 34, sub-section (2) of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act. It changes the deadline for issuing credit notes for any supply made in a financial year from 'September' to 'the thirtieth day of November' following the end of the financial year, or the date of furnishing the relevant annual return, whichever comes first.
