of <h1>Finance Bill, 2022 amends Customs Act section 28J: Advance rulings valid for three years or until law changes.</h1> Clause 92 of the Finance Bill, 2022 amends section 28J of the Customs Act by replacing sub-section (2). The amendment stipulates that an advance ruling under sub-section (1) will be valid for three years or until a change in law or facts occurs, whichever comes first. Additionally, it introduces a proviso stating that for advance rulings effective on the date the Finance Bill, 2022 receives the President's assent, the three-year validity period will start from that date.
