of <h1>Central Laws Adapted for Jammu and Kashmir: Immediate Effect with Modifications, Subject to Repeal or Amendment by Authority</h1> The Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Adaptation of Central Laws) Order, 2020, stipulates that the Acts listed in its Schedule will take effect immediately, subject to adaptations and modifications specified within the Schedule. These Acts will remain effective until they are either repealed or amended by a competent Legislature or authority. If directed by the Schedule, certain Acts may also stand repealed.
