<h1>Trustees and management firms must agree on managing collective investment schemes as per Regulation 20, SEBI 1999.</h1> Regulation 20 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Collective Investment Schemes) Regulations, 1999, mandates that trustees and collective investment management companies enter into an agreement for managing collective investment scheme property. This agreement must include clauses specified in the Fifth Schedule and any additional clauses necessary to achieve the objectives of the collective investment scheme. Amendments to these regulations were made effective from January 9, 2014.
