Grant of a certificate of registration is performed by the designated depository participant on behalf of the Board when an applicant fulfils eligibility and regulatory requirements; the DDP must record the registration number, endeavour to dispose of applications within thirty days after receipt or after required information is furnished, remit the specified registration fee to the Board upon grant, and either applicants or the DDP may approach the Board for instructions on grievances or interpretation.
