<h1>New Rules Define Salaries and Terms for Securities Appellate Tribunal Members Under SEBI Act, 1992</h1> The Securities Appellate Tribunal (Salaries, Allowances and Other Terms and Conditions of Presiding Officer and Other Members) Rules, 2003, were established by the Central Government under the powers granted by the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992. These rules supersede the 1997 rules concerning the same subject. They outline the remuneration and service conditions for the Presiding Officer and other members of the Securities Appellate Tribunal. The rules came into effect upon their publication in the Official Gazette, as notified by the government.
