Protection from legal proceedings shields Appellate Tribunal members and authorised officers for acts done in good faith under the Act. Protection from legal proceedings is provided for the President, State President, Members, officers and employees of the Appellate Tribunal and any person authorised by it, and for any officer appointed or authorised under the Act, where the acts or intentions are done in good faith under the Act or the rules made thereunder.
