Customs officer hierarchy updated to substitute list of designated officer classes and allow appointment of other classes. The amendment replaces the enumerated classes of customs officers to list Principal Chief Commissioners, Chief Commissioners, Principal Commissioners, Commissioners, Commissioners (Appeals), Joint Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Assistant Commissioners, and expressly permits appointment of such other classes of officers as may be appointed for the purposes of the Act.
