Funding for clean environment and energy initiatives now expressly authorised as permissible purposes under the Finance Act. The amendment substitutes the purpose clause in section 83(3) to expressly authorise use of funds for financing and promoting clean environment and energy initiatives, for funding research in the area of clean environment or clean energy, and for any other purpose relating thereto.
