Copies of constitutive documents of a foreign company must be certified as true copies: for non-Commonwealth incorporations, certification by a government custodian, a foreign Notary Public, or a company officer is required, with authentication of signatures or notarial certificates by a diplomatic/consular officer or other authorised oath official and oath-taking for company officer certificates; for Commonwealth incorporations, certification may be by a government custodian, local Notary Public, or company officer sworn before an authorised local oath administrator. Altered documents require the same certification. If the country is party to the Hague Apostille Convention, certified documents, director/secretary lists, authorised agent details, and requisite signatures/identity proofs must be notarized and apostillised.
