Contract amendment registration: importer must apply with deeds and required clearances for amendments to project import contracts. Importers must apply to register any amendment to a contract under regulation 5, furnishing the original deed and a true copy, plus documents permitting consequential amendments to the import trade control licence where required; for Open General Licence imports, registration follows clearance from the Directorate General of Technical Development or the concerned Administrative Ministry or Department and submission of a duly attested list of articles. The proper officer, if satisfied, shall note the amendments in the register.
