Duties include maintaining records and the official seal, receiving and scrutinizing applications, addressing defects, and forwarding applications to relevant commissioners. The Secretary places applications before the Authority for orders, issues notices, verifies service, requisitions and returns records, allows record inspections, amends records, provides certified copies, and preserves records for five years. Additional tasks may be assigned by the Authority through special or general orders.
