<h1>Delhi VAT Tribunal Members Get Official Residences or 30% Housing Allowance; Penal Rent for Overstaying</h1> Members of the Delhi Value Added Tax Appellate Tribunal are entitled to official residences from the General Pool or Government pool, similar to those provided to a Joint Secretary in Delhi, for a prescribed license fee. If accommodation is not provided or utilized, members receive a monthly allowance equal to 30% of their pay band plus grade pay. Members occupying official residences beyond the allowed period must pay additional fees or penal rent and face eviction, following the rules applicable to a Joint Secretary to the Government of India.
